UPDATE: The Foster Property Clean up has been cancelled due to a lack of volunteers.

 

When: Saturday May 11, 2019

Time: 9:00 am – unknown

 

Purpose: The Foster Property was donated to the Sask Wildlife Federation over 2 years ago. The property has a house, barn and several out buildings. These buildings are being demolished and we need to clear the contents out of the buildings, prior to demolition. We will removing any hazardous garbage /plastics / metal from the building and putting it into containers. The demolition company will look after the rest. We need to get at least 20 people out for this cleanup and we should be able to get it done the same day. You will need work gloves, good footwear (heavy soled boots) & bug spray. Kids are welcome. Some snacks and water will be provided. Bring a lunch.

 

Location: SE ¼ -23-48-23W3

 

Directions from Intersection of Highway 16 & 21, just North of Maidstone. Head 2 miles north on Highway 21, turn East and go 2 miles, turn North and go 1 1/8 mile. Property entrance is on the West side of the road. There is a cairn (monument) with the property name at the entrance.
