Correspondence:

-The SWF is changing the way they count their family memberships and dependents. This will now include dependents under the age of 25 that are still living at home. This will impact our multi and new memberships. The idea behind this is to obtain new members, and then retain after once they are moved out and purchase their own membership. This change is effective as of December.

Committee Reports:

Memberships 591 LDFGA, 327 Outdoor, 127 Indoor. Discussed putting an ad on the radio, as well as social media. Newspaper was discussed however we felt it wouldn’t reach enough audience. Andrew N. mentioned that an open house would be a good idea, however because of Covid-19 this isn’t possible in the near future.

MOTION by Carlo M. to allot $500 to radio and $250 to social media for the purposes of advertising, seconded by Keith B., carried.

FundraisingNR

Youth Outdoor Activity DayNR. Hoping we can plan this for 2021.

Indoor Range Dwayne D. discussed the guest passes. It will cost about $1,000 to get this set up on our website. Discussion was talked about whether we should charge $10 or $20 for the guest pass. This guest pass will also be for just one range, not both.

MOTION by Keith B. to set the guest pass price at $20, seconded by Mike H., carried.

MOTION by Keith B. to set the guest pass for single range use per guest pass, seconded by Gerry R., carried.

MOTION by Keith B. to reassess the guest policy at our June meeting, seconded by Janelle M., carried.

Outdoor Range Dwayne D. mentioned that the blade is now installed on the quad. The plowing went well but need to be careful not to hit anything, can’t go fast and will need to watch out as there is some lifts on the cement pads and some drops as well. There is a battery trickle charger for it as well and it should be left plugged in to keep the battery on the quad fully charged..

Conservation Camp NR. Also hoping this can get planned for 2021.
