On June 16th 2017, executive members Garry Cunningham and Larry Chambers, accompanied Mr. Sean Donald and his students from E. S. Laird to release approximately 100 trout fingerlings. The students hatched and raised the fingerlings from eggs provided by the Sask Wildlife Federation “Fish in Schools” Program (FINS). This project was locally sponsored by the Lloydminster & District Fish & Game Assoc. The release was into the Jack McDougall Trout Pond which is owned by LDFGA.
I work at a day program that is for adults with special needs. I’m interested in this program so we can watch the fish hatch and grow.
