Today Bill Blair, Minister of Border Security and Organized Crime Reduction, issued a statement (https://www.canada.ca/en/public-safety-canada/news/2018/10/minister-blair-seeks-views-on-reducing-violent-crime.html) that the Federal Government in striving to reduce violent crime, will provide an online opportunity for Canadian citizens to express their views on banning handguns and assault weapons.
